Infield hit for Hardy. McClung goes 5 and looks sharp. Mota doesn't walk anyone. Hardy scores from 1st on a double to left. A clean game defensively. What's going on here?

And a nice insurance run added to start the 8th here too!

Is Bill trying to make himself useless? Cripes, he's already an offensive liability, and he's becoming a defensive one as well.

 

So Torres has gotten 5 outs and has 1 to show for it.

We might have to start subbing in Counsell for Hall in the later innings. At least now it won't be a complete let down on the offensive end like it was with the Counsell/Braun switches last year.
