I agree that it was a homer. But how ridiculous is it to not have a yellow line or anything out there signifying that the top of the pad is out and not out of the park?

Gameday's video highlight has it in slow motion and you can clearly see it hit the gray part above the wall. It should be a home run, but I can't understand how they changed it at the park.

Single, hard hit out, screaming line drive to a great catch out...

Who else predicts error, seeing eye single walk-off for the bottom half?

I don't know why there aren't more tag ups of second base on deep fly balls to center like Cameron's just there.

Went to US Comisksmellular this past Thursday and saw the Sox win a game because Brian Anderson alertly took 2nd on a CF fly... 2 batters later a single proves to score the game winner.

Certainly Rickie is fast enough. A fly ball like that is either a homer, so you don't need to be 60% of the way to 2nd... or caught and you're retreating.

What, like hit?

let's not get ahead of ourselves. let's start with... breathing, maybe?

JP: "He showed no inclination to bunt there."

Good! Corey Hart should NOT be bunting with runners in scoring position.

Sacrificing a runner over to 3B with 3TO coming up is worthless. What is Hart doing? 3-1 pitch? Even if he was trying to bunt for a base hit..... crazy.

Thank you, Kapler.

God bless it. C'mon. A leadoff double looks like it will be wasted, not a good sign in extra innings.

*Edit - thanks Gabe!!

Do you really think that was Hart's choice? Seems like the coach would tell him to do that.
