This would be an awesome game to win. A 3-3 road trip is nothing to sneeze at, especially the way it started.

I hate to see this semi-JV line-up with Ben on the mound, but I guess there's only so much you can do with injuries, days off, etc.

Has Rivera caught Benny this year?

Counsell batting second and Fielder and Branyan back to back again. I don't even know what to say anymore.

Ned figures if it puts up 10 runs the night before it must be good.

I was wondering that too, I don't think Mike has caught Sheets yet.

Not to make this the line-up thread, but given these starters...just asking if this would have make more sense:

Hart

Braun

Prince

Hall

Russell

Cam

CC

Mike

Mine would be

Hart

Braun

Prince

Cam

Branyan

Rivera

Hall

CC

P

In both those lineups Prince would get walked 4 times.. would have been better to start Kapler and hit him behind prince and put Hall at SS and Dillon at 2b and let Dillon hit 2nd.

We could only hope that Kapler's awesomeness would keep Prince from walking at all.

Fielder has 32 walks and 46 Ks in 234 AB this year. He takes walks and doesn't strike out a ton.

I understand Hipster, but do you think Prince would be more likely to walk 4 times in a game or strike out 3 times in a game? How about I meet you halfway and say 2Ks and 2BBs. I can do that.

With that lineup, I see nothing wrong with Counsell second. but would rather see Iribarren there.

If Hart leads off with a single and Counsell doesn't bunt, this lineup makes no sense at all. Unless, Hart is on the run right away.
