CC says thanks to cleveland

[patrickgpe]

what a nice move, he took a full page similar to what geoff did last season. when you spend so much time with one team, its a classy move to make.

That is awesome.

It is a very touching thing for Sabathia to do, and you could tell you enjoyed his time in Cleveland.

It cost him $12,870.

It cost him $12,870.

I'll bet his agent paid for it.

so adblock on firefox is very effective. i opened the page to see nothing until i un-blocked the ad.

nice to see. it is too bad that the brewers will not be able to pony up enough dough to keep him around.

[lodiness]

That's just a classy move on his part.

Very classy move by CC. Stop it, I don't want to develope a bigger man crush on him just to have him leave. He was on Jim Rome yesterday as well, the interview is available online.

Pretty dang cool. I'd love to meet his mom some day; she's clearly done a helluva job raising her young man. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I like to see atheletes do these kind of things. It shows their appreciation of the fans that supported them for so long. I'd expect Sheets will do the same in the Journal if/when he leaves this offseason.

Sheets has to one-up CC, so he's going to send each person who bought a ticket to any of the games this year a personalized, hand-written letter.

Totally possible.

[insert 'Yeah, but he'd injure his ____' joke here]

[Tbadder]

Geez...I like every thing about this guy. I wish 135 million would fall outta the sky!

CC is the man, true class act. I have loved having him here even if just till the end of this season. He will always be a part of Brewers history now.
