Hopefully facing 3 lefties this series will be a benefit to us. It would be nice for Suppan to come out and pitch another good game as well.

I hope Gorzelanny's stint in the minors didn't help him find last year's form. At least for Saturday.

Anyone know how Gorzo was in the minors? I was glad we aren't seeing Karstens, but Gorzo was their ace once upon a time.

 

I guess he was 3-1 with a 2.06 ERA in 7 starts.

Yeah, Gorzelanny pitched well in AAA, but obviously that doesn't necessarily mean too much.

 

Hopefully Suppan is his stereotypical August/September form tonight. I'd love to go to the game tomorrow and cheer for a...win.

Anyone know why Karstens was pushed back? He has stifled a few teams so I'm not upset skipping him. Hopefully Soup doesn't get hit like the Dodger game. Thank goodness that game was played in LA and not at Miller. Would've been a blowout otherwise.
