61 BB/53 K? Ouch.

Hopefully facing 3 lefties this series will be a benefit to us. It would be nice for Suppan to come out and pitch another good game as well.

I hope Gorzelanny's stint in the minors didn't help him find last year's form. At least for Saturday.

Anyone know how Gorzo was in the minors? I was glad we aren't seeing Karstens, but Gorzo was their ace once upon a time.

I guess he was 3-1 with a 2.06 ERA in 7 starts.

P Jeff Suppan

This one smells like a 9-8 game to me, with neither starter doing well. Suppan's had a habit of giving up a ton of HR's lately, but hopefully he can avoid giving up the longball tonight.

Anyone know why Karstens was pushed back? He has stifled a few teams so I'm not upset skipping him. Hopefully Soup doesn't get hit like the Dodger game. Thank goodness that game was played in LA and not at Miller. Would've been a blowout otherwise.

Wow, my controller almost went flying into the TV. They started playing some pac-10 crap on FSN here in Eau Claire but then switched it over to the game. Thank god they televise these WMLW games.

Anyone care to tell Brian Anderson that Brandon Moss wasn't the "prize" for Pittsburgh in the Bay-Ramirez trade? That's like saying Jeff Karstens was the prize of the Nady/Marte trade.

And that would be why Weeks doesn't bunt for more hits -- he can't bunt.

Edit: Rickie follows it up by lining one into left for a leadoff single. Somewhere, Tom Haudricourt is going "yeah, but he doesn't bunt for enough hits!"

Hall is just brutal.

Edit: I'm in the game thread by myself tonight! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I just don't understand what is wrong with Bill. I keep thinking that he'll turn t around but he has just kept getting worse and worse.
