someone should tell the Brewers that while drawing walks is a good thing, letting grooved fastballs sail through without swinging doesn't lead to drawing walks, and tends to hurt an offense's ability to score runs.

Well, no matter what happens we at least got here and won a game in front of the home fans. It was a lot of fun to watch 4 extra Brewers games and one of them a great win. Just a shame Suppan and the offense wasted all that.

 

But with the end of the season brings the hot stove winter and before long pitchers and catchers will report and its new life! And hopefully some moves made to improve the team in the areas they fail at.

It's staggering that for as long as Hart has flat out sucked, he hasn't been pinch hit for or sat down for a game one single time. There were 452 guys in the dugout in September, but nobody was able to play a game for Hart.

 

He sucks so bad right now that even when he does something right, (gets a single) he screws it up (got nailed by the throw behind him to first).
