Well, Vargas throwing 94 with movement where ever he wants. So far, on offspeed pitch for him, and Koskie ripped it for a single. He needs some mistakes

Its the 1st time they have done it, cut them some slack, their excited. Its kind of neat with all the little things their telling us. I dont mind, now if next retro Sunday they do the same thing, then complain.

i like that the crew are looking so scrappy this early in the season. everyone is getting a chance, and everyone is contributing. pinch hitters have been clutch, the pitchers are digging in and getting themselves out of jams, and the bullpen is lights out. keep playing like this and there'll be no problem finding room for hall, hart, etc.

 

sidenote: as a capellan fan, i felt he took some undue lumps on tuesday. i was at the game, and it looked like koskie probably could have gotten to that double (he may have stumbled or gotten a bad jump). add in a passed ball and you know what that gets you...

On another note, I just can't get used to seeing these players in these uniforms. I swore I saw Yount standing at first earlier. A second look confirmed it wasn't. It was Koskie.
