2009-04-11 Cubs (Zambrano) at Brewers (Bush): 6:05PM CDT [Brewers Lose 6-5]

[Ennder]

Unless something good happens here like a double play, this should be Bush's last hitter.

This game feels like so many from last year, Brewers out hit them early, can't score big runs and then the other team has one big inning and we are behind.

[Oldcity]

Back to back 0-2 hits!

[Ennder]

Let me just say that I HATE bush pitching here. This should be Stetter with no question at all.

Edit : Well Dave proves me wrong, I still hate that move.

[Oldcity]

They are really keeping Bush in? What the heck?

[uwmbrewers]

ends up being a good call after all

[Oldcity]

Just because it worked out doesn't necessarily make it the right call...

[tyguy20204]

I would normally agree with you Ender, but Stetter showed control issues last time he was out, I don't think I would trust him in this situation.

[thablingster]

While I am pretty sure Bush is about out of gas, DiFelice is probably a much easier pitcher to get at least a sacrifice fly off of at this point. Bush got a big strikeout there though so maybe Macha is on to something.

[endaround]

Someone want to tell Rock that Bush's out pitch is his curve ball?

[Ennder]

I'm getting older, I think i need some sort of medication to make it through games like this.

Cubs fans all are saying he was out, tough break.

[adamb100]

The Ump screws another call.

[brains and braun]

Bad call. Not the only one tonight.

[uwmbrewers]

wow, the umps are giving it to the cubs

[jwill535]

That was by more then a half a step

[thablingster]

Great pick by Prince, terrible call by the umpire. DiFelice got the ground ball he needed, now he has to get a third out.

[pebadger]

Make that ANOTHER bad call. First one (on the steal) just didn't end up costing a run.

[Oldcity]

Crap, he should have been out?

[Ennder]

McClung is up in the bullpen? What the heck is Macha thinking.

I am completely baffled by this bullpen usage tonight even if it might work out.

[TSack27]

The Ump screws another call.

And the Cubs announcers agree again, with Soriano being doubled up there.

[yfinn6]

Nice blown call by the ump. DeFelice pitching to Fukudome, really? Hmm.

[trwi7]

Just an absolutely atrocious call costs us a run. Thanks ump.

[theavrock]

Wow that wasn't even close. Ridiculous call.

[Oldcity]

That crap call better only cost us one run instead of three or more.

[DHonks]

wow, that was an awful call by the ump. He was clearly out. Normally I defend umps, but not on that at first

[theavrock]

I hope he is thinking "Please God I don't want to have to use this guy"
