Problem is, this team is creating fewer and fewer opportunited for big hits. Maybe Lopez will help change that at the top of the lineup.

Villy has trouble going 1 or 2 innings, much less 5 or 6.

Anyone else hear that loudmouth Pirates fan yell "Hey Prince, is ice cream a vegetable?!"

I'll admit, I'm having a bad day, but that kinda made me smile. Not because it's funny, but because hecklers are so lame.

Baseball Tonight just showed the clip of Burns getting nicked by the line drive and said, "Good news is that the pitcher stayed in the game." Indeed.

Hahahaha. Good stuff, thanks for the laugh.

I won't say it, but I know i'm not the only one thinking it. Mike Burns, it's been fun. Thank you for the game against the Dodgers, but I'd rather your Brewer days be over now.

Ah, I think you just did.

Well, at least Kendall drove in a run so Gerut couldn't completely kill the rally.

This game is far from over. Just need to keep putting up 0's in the bottom half.

It'd be nice to let Rivera pinch hit once in a blue moon.

Why would you waste Rivera that early though? Gerut was fine in that spot.

And people were complaining about the trade why?

I'm an on the record supporter of the trade, but the reason people were against was what happened after his first hit. The guys has some known focus issues, but he can also flat out hit.

Can't pinch hit your only backup catcher.
Not that Rivera should have PH there, but they do have this guy, too:

man...BA's just having a horrible game. He just said Fielder's second in the NL in HR's, behind Pujols...Ibanez has 25, Fielder has 24. Fielder is 3rd.

Why didn't Lopez slide there? he looked kinda close to the plate and Ohlendorf would've had to bend all the way down to tag him out with the high throw...

I really hope we get at least one out of this...

EDIT: Knew I shouldn't have posted "I really hope we get at least one out of this...".
