2009-07-25 Braves (Hanson) at Brewers (Gallardo) : 6:05 PM CT [Brewers win, 4-0]

[Brewer Fever]

Nice work, Brewer Fever. How are you feeling about Sunday's game?

Stop the madness! Win a series!

Unfortunately, a gut feeling that strong usually only comes about once a year. I do like this team a lot better with Lopez up there leading off though.

[hawing]

So...it sounds at least like you don't have a strong gut feeling of Brewers doom for tomorrow. I'll take that.

[thablingster]

My gut feeling is Trevor Time, at the very least. I've been to 7 games so far this year and am 5 for 7 on Trevor time, and have a 5-2 record overall. Opening Day is one of those 7, but Trevor was injured so he obviously didn't pitch, and he didn't pitch in the Sadowski massacre. Edited July 25, 2009 by thablingster

Hey, perhaps the sky isn't falling after all. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif It'd be great to get a win tomorrow and head into the Nationals series with some momentum.

[Marc Newfield of Dreams]

Just about perfect game. As much as I rag on them, gotta give the boys credit tonight. Well played against a very tough pitcher.

When I say just about perfect, I mean it would have been perfect if not for the drunk frat boys behind us constantly singing "Your Love."

Damn you Frank Catalanatto....

[Invader3K]

"Your Love" is awesome, by the way.

Had a great time at the game tonight. Was nice to see the Brewers win. Hopefully they can keep the momentum rolling tomorrow.

Have to wonder if Mitch will get a shot at the Closer Spot next season.this teamstill make you wondeer if they will be buyers or sellers

[owbc]

Once again, I have absolutely no confidence in the Brewers winning a day game to take the series.

"9th inning: Trevor Hoffman came on to nail down Gallardo's victory, his first of the month in five starts.

Brewers 4, Braves 0."

Great reporting by Anthony Witrado on the JSOnline blog. Sheesh.

[hawing]

Yeah, makes you wonder what Anthony was in such a hurry to get to last night. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

[BrewCrewForever]

Witrado may be the worst baseball reporter in history. Just awful, doesn't seem to care one bit about the great job he has. How did he get that job to begin with?

[Invader3K]

A lot of times in the media industry (just like others), it's not what you know, it's who you know. I don't know about him specifically, but it would not surprise me if that is the case.
