"This, to me, is the most important batter for Keppel to get, so he doesn't have to face Ordonez or Cabrera"

Welcome to the game, Ron Darling. Ordonez was lifted for a defensive replacement (Clete Thomas) last inning.

And Randy Marsh's strike zone suddenly becomes a floating one. This game could be an ugly one the rest of the way.

oh, come on. He just lost the ball in the turf. Happens all the time at the dome.

Oh. wait. that's the roof. Never mind.

This game has been great. Hope the rest of the post-season is as exciting as this. These play-in games always seem to be great and then the rest of the games can be a bit of a let down.

Welcome to the game, Ron Darling. Ordonez was lifted for a defensive replacement (Charles Thomas) last inning.

His name is Clete Thomas. Welcome to the game, TLB. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Haha! I just tried to sneak in my edit!

But at least I was paying enough attention to know Ordonez had been out of the game for an inning! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, but the funny thing imo is that the zone was pretty darn good (save a call or two) until the 9th inning or so.

Yeah, I'll always remember Jesse Crain, I was at that game and it's probably one of the top 5 games I've ever attended.
That game was also a Brewerfan Fan Fest game. We had a group out in the field bleachers. It was - how do you cool guys say it? - teh awesome.

Edit: I'm tired of Chip Caray already. Which audio feed should I listen to, DET or MIN? Quick, give me your opinion before the game ends.

"And this is exactly what the Tigers want to see up -- Brandon Inge is 9-17 with the bases loaded this season"

Skip Caray, unaware of what a sample of data actually is.

Psst, Skip is the Caray who died last year. It's Chip in the booth.

So, after highlighting Inge's bad knee, Skip Caray describes him as "flying down the first base line".

This guy is just pathetic.

Lopez/Weeks goes for the 4-6-3 double play in that situation . . . and fails.

Our guys just would not have the common sense to throw home on that.

WOW. The Tigers are not going to win this game. 1st and 3rd nobody out in the 9th, bases chucked one out in the 12th and they get nothing both times. Too bad because I really want to see them take it.

Well, that there were/are too many Carays in sportscasting is an issue on its own. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I settled on the Twins Radio Network. They sound pretty pumped.

Edit: Plus the Minnesota commercials are kind of entertaining. Nothing for brats, though.

Wow. Pitching around the out-machine Young to get to a LHB--RHP matchup (where the batter has speed)?

Dear me, Jim Leyland.

Twins Win! Twins Win!

Good for them! Bad for Detroit!

Hey, look! It's RODNEY!!!!

I would not have went with him for a third inning. That was nuts.
