Former Brewer TV announcer has died at age 54.One report I saw said he died of a hart attack.

That's too bad. I saw this earlier today. I think he got his start with the Brewers when Uecker was shooting Mr. Belvidere. Did he ever do local sports for any of the Milwaukee stations?

He was a Brewers announcer when I was a little kid, so I can't say I remember him. I did hear he would fill in for Uke on the radio, though. Seems like he was well regarded as a good professional to work with, from what I've read.

I'm glad he had the opportunity to call a World Series for the Angels. But wow, you'd think the Angels would have absorbed enough losses lately.

I knew he worked for the Brewers, but I had no idea he was around for 10 years.
