Just a reminder, there are now threads dedicated to the discussion as it happens on the three days of the draft. Please use each thread accordingly. This thread is for the general draft discussion, to talk about the picks as they happen, and not necessarily tied to the Brewers. There are individual threads to discuss the Brewers picks, rounds 1-5, 6-20 and 21-50, as well as the official pick and signing thread which is locked, but will be updated by myself or other moderators as information is compiled.

Please do not start individual threads on the individual players. Those threads will be locked/deleted.

Thanks, and happy draft day!

I know the draft is on MLB network tonight but is there any coverage on TV of the later rounds of the draft tomorrow or Wednesday?

I love the draft. I'm hoping for Allie, but as long as its someone that won't be there in the second round I will bite my tongue and trust in the experts. I wasn't happy with Rogers or even Braun for that matter when they were drafted and so far Bruan at least has put me in my place. Here's to hoping for the best! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif

Nope, but it's all broadcast on MLB.com for free.

Chris (New Jersey): How far can Pomeranz realistically fall?

Kevin Goldstein: He could go 5 to Cleveland, but if that doesn't happen, he could get into the double-digit picks.

This is an interesting discussion about pitch calling, I had no idea college catchers weren't calling their own pitches.

Harper drafted as an OF, the Nats are going to fast track him.

Is there a reason the Nats are taking the full five minutes? Everyone and their mother knows who they're going to take.

Taillon to the Pirates, good pick for them.

I feel really old when I see Harper was born during my sophomore year of college.
