Dear Yo and teammates:

Those of us who make the trip today will be broiling in a sauna, possibly whether the roof is open or closed. Please make it worth our while, and not just for the Italian bobbles.

Thanks a bunch,

Based on the radar I'm planning for a very rainy, hot, and humid day at the ballpark. Hopefully we'll see Lucroy back in the lineup along with Cain today. Whatever weather fireworks are going on outside, I hope the Brewers match them with offensive fireworks off of Wright.

The Brewers are listening to thablingster, at least on today's lineup. Cain and Lucroy both. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Plug in Gamel for Fielder and you just may have the opening day lineup for next year http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I would have to agree with that. Although I'm sure the order might be a bit different. Or Hart at 1B and Gamel in RF.

Congrats to Lo on his first big league RBI that inning. Interesting first frame all around, to say the least. Here's to hoping Yo can settle down now.

Probably the last time you will ever hear "Vladimir Guerrero like" to describe S-key.

Then J-Luc with a double.

Fun to watch these guys .

Brandon Morrow just had his no hitter broken up after 8.2 innings. Still a filthy game for him, only 2 walks and 16 strikeouts.

Interesting on Morrow considering he was someone who was mentioned as a possible trade target for Milwaukee this past off season. Daniel Hudson has been lights out for Arizona since they got him. Hudson was rumored in a few of the deals for Fielder recently...

CG 17 strikeouts for Morrow in a 1-0 win. Filthy.
Kind of unimpressive. If he was really a good pitcher he would have had a no-hitter today.

Cain looking very impressive early in his big league career.
I think he still needs more at bats in AAA.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

The truly disturbing thing about Macha is that there's absolutely zero reason to use three relievers today to get through three innings, but he does stuff like this all the time....
Posted
I don't really see the point of using Axford here. If he really felt the need to use three relievers, which is incredibly stupid then why not use Cappy? He hasn't pitched since the 4th where he only threw 5 pitches and before that he hadn't pitched since the 31st.
