Uecker made Tony's catch seem impressive. Can MLB TVers verify?

I'd be fine with Gomez batting second over Morgan against a lefty but a righty? That is just a brutal decision.

He was playing deep and had a long way to go. Didn't dive but made a good leaning, running catch.

Gomez bunting for a hit is encouraging to see. Use those wheels, Carlos.

The Braves sure think they are.

Edit: That is EXACTLY why you run and try and steal bases. Hanson was completely focuses on Gomez and left a pitch right down the middle for Braun.

GoGo was really close to getting caught there a couple times. Good to see Braun back to crushing those fat ones.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

Hopefully Hanson doesn't drill Braun in the elbow again like he did last year. McCalvy tweeted Braun did a small fist pump as the ball went out.

The camera got lucky and caught the fist pump at the right time. Braun was already around 1st base. I doubt Hanson saw it.

McGehee is really struggling at the plate. Could probably use a day off.

He looks very uncertain at the plate. Even in his walk yesterday you could tell he wasn't seeing the ball well. I agree - he could use a day off.

Braun definitely looked happy with that one. He probably feels he should have a couple more long balls already.

Braun has 4 HRs in 13 AB against Hanson.

I'm also guessing that, if Hanson had seen the fist pump, he'd have dotted Prince with the next pitch (like he did the last time Ryan took him deep).

Nice job by Prado, just reached out and poked it through for a single. Marcum left it a bit up but it was well off the outside corner.

Marcum does not have a good enough fastball to blow it by anyone up with 2 strikes. Same thing he tried to do against Rolen when he gave up the HR. Keep the ball down with 2 strikes Marcum.

Tony Plush knows doubles. Gotta love the plushdamentals being shown so far by the gentleman.

It's nice to see one of these "other people's trash" transactions work out so well. *knocks on wood*

Can Tony Plush play SS? (/blue)
