Dave Bush is Bronson Arroyo light. He throws such garbage that you'd think should be thrashed, but somehow gets it done. The only time I ever liked him was the day he went deep on the Scrubbies (I think it was twice in one week). We have hit some balls hard, just right at people. In that disasterous inning, they were hitting em where they aint.

One of those nights.

Seemed like Gomez was running full-out and his first somersault didn't really shed much momentum, so he either needed to do another one or probably end up diving forward and landing on his face.

Ok, that was a nice catch but what the heck was with the extra flip thing Gomez just did?
It was pure win, that's what it was.

Love Seder, but think CC scores there easily...

Maybe you think that GoGo is hitting well so may as well hold off.

I'm keeping myself sane by reminding myself that the Reds went 6-12 against the Cardinals last year and still managed to win the division.

It'd be nice to put up some kind of late-inning rally here, even if it comes up short.

The team in general has really hit the ball hard. That one inning though was just absurd. Agree with crewcrazy that a mild comeback would be nice...

Can't see the game tonight, just wondering what happened to Narvy? Was he just off...or maybe tipping pitches? Hey, I knew he was due for a star like this, just wondering how/why he giot shelled?

Narvy just didn't have it. Left a lot of pitches up and the reds took advantage. Even when he made a few nice pitches, the reds still found a way to find "a" "hole" or rope them down the line (the hanigan double comes to mind)

always forget that those words i put in quotes up there get edited...

They weren't swinging at his junk balls tonight. His changeup didn't have any effectiveness whatsoever because he was not able to get them to bite on it and couldn't set it up with any other pitches since nothing was working.
