I am officially a proud father of a wonderful baby boy. John Brian Axford is 7lbs 9oz. He's perfect. So proud of my wife! I love them both!



He was born at 1:52am. I just made it in time. #babystaching has officially begun. Thank you all for thoughts and prayers.

No, he said he hoped to not miss any games if possible. Worked out with him not being available anyway last night, and a night game tonight. Also came right before a homestand, which helps too. I'm sure he'll be in uniform tonight.

Good stuff. Congrats to the family! Always nice to have some positive vibes on this board........(in blue) but I'm sure someone will argue that he should have had a girl because statistically you pitch better if you have a daughter vs a son. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Man, I'm disappointed. I was hoping the little fella would be named Fingers Axford! Probably sounded too much like a safecracker's name!

Safecracking is always a good back-up plan, but I was thinking it sounded like more of a Mafia strongman. Congrats to the Axfords.

Mafia strongmen need the middle name "the" - y'know, Vinny the Fish, Joey the Squirrel, that kind of thing!

This is from John's twitter account today, When he arrived in Az from Canada, homeland security would not allow his little baby boy into the country even though he was born in the us. they got it all worked out. They were calling it free baby Ax.
