Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I'm too lazy to go through all the posts. Who is the announcer with Brian? He is pretty terrible.
Jeff Cirillo. And are you serious? He's about a million times better than Rock. He is the one who is terrible. Cirillo offers good insight, and doesn't sugar coat and make excuses for everything.
Cirillo just doesn't have a very good announcing voice. I agree that he provides good insight (and do prefer him to Schroeder)...but he just doesn't have a strong voice. Doesn't feel like he should be announcing games.
Well, he isn't usually an announcer. I would think he'd get more used to it over time. I care about what he's saying, not his voice.

As for Gamel not having played 3rd in a year or so, what does that have to do with getting a glove on a ground ball?

The play was right at Gamel and the ball ate him up. McGehee would have made it.

I'm definitely not convinced of that.

Yeah I agree. McGehee is less than solid at 3B. Gamel is worse no doubt, but that wasn't really the kind of play McGehee usually makes.

That pitch was a 3 run homer a few weeks ago. Hope Prince heats up again after the break.

He's got an OPS of 1.031 in the last 7 days. I think he's hitting just fine lately.
