See what they did there? I'm mildly surprised this out of date logo hasn't been scrubbed off the internets.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

On a side note the over-confidence Tim Allen was spewing today on the post-game show (WSSP) was NAUSEATING. It ain't over til it's over.

Dezdn, bravo! Gotta love me some Sesame Street!

I was going to post a dirty dozen picture or maybe 12 angry men, but for 11, hmmm...

How about this one:

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Not to turn this into a dual-number-tracking thread, but the Brewers have now ensured a better-than-.500 season. Yay.

So it would be faux pas for me to post the Wild Card Magical Number?

I'd have to say it'd be next to impossible to win the wild card at this point, wouldn't it? If we aren't leading the division, something's gone horribly, horribly wrong, and we'd have to have seen the Braves lose just as much as we have over the final 20 for us to be leading the wild card, but not the division.

Can't wait to see Robert Parish!

Oh, and I agree a Wild Card countdown doesn't make sense, but how about a simultaneous countdown to 100 wins?

In the print section version of the Journal/Sentinel, they have a "Game Report" section each day after a game. In that section they have the current Brewers record, Last years Brewers record (through the same amount of games), and an "on pace for" record. Today it said they were on pace for 99-63? Huh? How do they calculate that? They are currently at .599 winning %. That comes out to 97 wins (not 99).
