Marco Estrada

3-8, 4.28

Estrada moved into the rotation when Chris Narveson suffered a cut on his left thumb, and will get at least this one start. In a start against the Pirates last week, Estrada allowed one hit in five shutout innings.

Ross Ohlendorf

0-0, 7.27

Ohlendorf is expected to be recalled to take Paul Maholm's rotation spot. He hasn't pitched in the Majors since April 9 due to a lingering shoulder injury. Ohlendorf allowed two-runs in a seven-inning Triple-A start on Tuesday.

[Invader3K]

Let's knock around Ohlendorf and get a win, Brew Crew. Make up for that poor showing in Game 2 last night!

[ilovebeer]

With Narvi off the dl, why is Marco still starting?

With Narvi off the dl, why is Marco still starting?

Because we used two starters yesterday, with no off-day in the schedule.

[ilovebeer]

That makes sense

[a3uge]

I initially thought, "No! Who got hurt?" Then I realized the loss of day for starters. If Narveson wasn't back, I don't think we would enjoy De La Cruz on the mound.

[ilovebeer]

Not a bad first inning for Marco.

[a3uge]

Nice bloop hit. Karma from last night!

(for the record, this was on the first bloop hit!)

[ilovebeer]

Smart move holding Yuni at 3rd.

[ilovebeer]

Yes i love early leads, nice hit, luc.

[Oldcity]

Man does this inning sum up Brewers-Pirates.

[Raw Biz]

Wow, just a shocking inning so far. A couple of bloops and a 2-base error.

[thablingster]

LOL, Doumit. Also, LOL, Pirates. Keep the pressure on!

[ilovebeer]

Marco helps himself. nice d Pittsburgh

[ilovebeer]

I think Luc could have scored there.

[Raw Biz]

I really don't like how Morgan attempts at least one bunt each AB. When you do it that often, the defense is ready for it. Not to mention he usually just puts himself down at least a strike with it.

edit: See, good things happen when you swing away.

[ilovebeer]

T PLUSH comes through again.

[ilovebeer]

Come on Braun open this game wide up.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Beast mode! Year of the beer!

[ilovebeer]

BRAUN=MVP

[markedman5]

2-14 sounds much better then 1-13.........

[a3uge]

Prince really wanted to equal last night's 7-run inning.

Edit: Nevermind, McGehee did it anyways.

Stolden base #27 for Braun.

[Raw Biz]

Braun's really good at taking 3rd when nobody's paying attention. Not that it matters now...

[markedman5]

What a sweet swing by Casey.....Boom!
