Vance Worley

11-1, 2.85

Worley continued to make his case for NL Rookie of the Year honors, allowing two earned runs over six innings against the Braves on Tuesday. The Phils have won the past 14 games he has started, one shy of the club mark set in 1972 by Steve Carlton.

Lets go Crew!! We need a big win today. And let's go Atlanta and San Diego!!

Glad to see Weeks in the lineup ... I like the lineup. (Wish they would try JHJ over Yuni. Even if Weeks couldn't go the whole game, then switch JHJ to 2B and insert Yuni)

Cheering for the Braves, Falcons, Padres, and Chargers today.

Hopefully Weeks can get the ball rolling again. If Roenicke just replaced Betancourt with Hairston, that would be one heck of a lineup.

Man this is a sweet lineup. My fear is that McGehee will go in for Weeks and Green will move to 2B. I would've loved to see Hairston at SS, and I hope he comes in for Weeks and not McGehee.

Unfortunately, you're spot on. From Tom H's twitter:
Ron Roenicke said plan is for Weeks to get couple of ABs, then put McGehee in at 3B and move Green over to 2B.

I am so tired of this manager making poor decision after poor decision. Enough with the freaking sac bunts in the first inning already.

Also, now that Weeks is back, the Phillies have to be careful walking Prince with 2 outs.

Edit: indeed, they now pitch to him. Yesterday they would have walked him here.

Playing with [at most] 26 outs today boys.
I expect at least one more sacrifice being called by RRR today.

count on it. RR bunts the pitcher in just about every situation with a runner on base

That one should get Yuni another week of playing time http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
