It was typical managing. Brought in the LOOGY in a key situation, who didn't do his job. Then brought in one of his clone righties and he threw a pitch.

Bad call yes, but Rickie has to work the count for a pitch inside. He hasn't been able to hit outer half since the injury. He's not healthy so he has to be smart. His recent homers were both inside fastballs he could pull.
