This is a messed up game. Yuni is hitting lights out, Kotsay can't get out (except by making rookie mistakes on the basepaths) and Prince only avoids DPs by getting IBB'd.

Carp was wayyy off w/ Kotsay. Really gave up on his motion, especially on Ball 3. I'd expect this to be his last inning whether we score or not.

what's with the 1st pitch swinging by Braun and Fielder tonight? Kotsay walks on four pitches then Braun swings at a tough pitch to hit right away...

 

I 2nd the Smoltz commentary - both Smoltz and Darling are pretty good, and it's great having former pitchers/players in the booth who excelled in the field able to describe their points well enough for almost anyone to understand.
