Anyhoo. Being a life long fan of hockey since birth, i highly encourage anyone who doesnt watch it often to check out the playoffs at least. NHL playoff hockey is in a league of its own.

at 18:06 of the 4th overtime, Henrik Sedin scores to give Vancouver the win! Unfortunately, nobody saw it. Versus dropped the game at 2:00 in favor of an infomercial! I called Time Warner and they said nothing they can do. I called Versus and they were closed. They will have a very angry e-mail waiting for them tomorrow morning!

 

BTW - This was the 1st playoff game for Roberto Luongo. He fininshed with 72 saves.

Does anyone else here have NHL Center Ice? I'm so ticked that I've been able to watch every regular season game, and now I can't watch the Sabres game tonight. Instead its on some stupid Canadian channel, and it's two American teams.

Redwings looked very good, Kiprusoff kept it from being 8 or 9 to 1, he is really good. Had to bust out the Konstantinov sweater(which I found under my Brent Moss Miami Dolphin jersey, made me laugh)so I guess that one will be a bit stinky by the time this series ends. Great to see Datsyuk score, he's fun to watch.

Its seeming less and less likely that Nashville will send down Radulov even if they lose as I doubt the AHL will help in his development anymore.

Some of these series are developing that edge that makes the Stanley Cup playoffs so exciting. Pittsburgh and Ottawa starting to really dislike each other, and the San Jose and Nashville series with a couple of questionable hits. On a positive note, at least for me, Vancouver pulled out another OT win in Dallas tonight. Only took 7:47 this time. And now are up 2-1.

A good game tonight between the Flames and Wings.... Tied 1-1 going to the 3rd period. Wings win and they pretty much have this series wrapped up.
