As an art history major, I'll chime in. Its considered art because not only is is a poorly drawn wiener dog, but if you take off your glasses and look at it upside down, it very slightly resembles a poorly drawn picture of London Bridge.

i think the greatest works of art are the ones that cause a reaction of any kind...if that was a landscape or beach shot, he would not have cared to show it to us...but because it's a ridiculous weiner dog, it gets an audience...
