2012 Brewers TV Spots

Saw these posted on Twitter. The Gamel/Aoki one is probably my favorite, the deadpan delivery by Gamel made me laugh pretty hard.

 

There is also an appearance by a certain Green and Gold QB in one of the other spots.

These are great. I love them every year. The one with Gamel and Aoki made me LOL. Especially at the end when the sausages run by, and Aoki just says HUH? Good stuff.

I hate the second one. Why not just come out and say, "Hey, we don't care either. This is just something to watch while drinking and waiting for football."

The Aoki Gamel one was definately the funniest and my favorite. Didn't really care for the Marcum/Gallardo one though. Aramis's was ok and The Arod one was pretty good to

The commentary on Rodgers' "unusual delivery" probably should have been "balk."

-Mat Gamel/Nori "Huh" Aoki was classic.

-Rodgers one was good. I like the cross Wisconsin sports teams aspect. I disagree with Right Field Coder's assessment. This isn't the early 2000s Brewers who were awful and couldn't draw fans and needed to rely on gimmicks like Packers in Brewers ads. 3 million fans in 2011 speaks for itself.

-The Marcum/Gallardo one was simply a rehash of last year's Marcum/Saito...except not funny.

I think the Brewers did a nice job again this year on these TV spots. They definitely mailed it in a bit on the Marcum one, though -- looks like they shot all of about 15 seconds of new footage & just re-used the RC car stuff from last season.

 

Fun stuff overall. I like the pairing of Gamel with Aoki; kinda introduces both of them to the masses.

I know not everyone here likes football or the Packers, but Rodgers is a national celeb. It's very cool to get him in a Brewers uni and do the spot. Plus, it's funny. I love it that all these Wisconsin sports guys back each other up.

 

The Gamel/Aoki one is solid too.

The A-Ram is the best.... him going down the escalator with the big 0 really made me laff....

 

Akoi and Gamel spot must be funnier when you can hear it... hard with it being really quiet here at work.

I honestly didn't 'lol' at the Aoki/Gamel spot, but I still liked it.

I thought they were all pretty good, though I did think the RC one had been done before. Guess I was right.
