Miller Park question for opening day

Besides the gate behind home plate, how many other places are there to actually enter the stadium?

On opening day, I am sitting in the LF bleachers, and I dont want to have to wait in the 45 minute line behind home plate at 2:30.

Is there an entrance by Fridays or in the outfield?

Thanks in advance

I've never been to opening day at Miller Park (once at County Stadium was enough for me), but there are gates in the RF and LF corners. They're usually where I enter the stadium on bobblehead days.

As far as I know the gates in the LF corner and RF corner should both be open.

Don't stand in the club lines, however, they won't let you in unless you have club level tickets. These are midway down 1B and 3B lines.

Also, due to the nature of opening day, I've rarely found the lines to be bad at all, as so many people don't get in for the first pitch.

There's at least 5 entrances that I can think of so you shouldn't have a problem.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Yes, there is an entrance by Fridays, that is where I always go in.

Since when? When i worked there, we never turned people back just because they didn't have a club level ticket. Heck, never even checked them. I've gone in there myself many times(albeit not in 2 or 3 seasons, as i usually don't park by home plate) and never had a problem.

And for those who are in the Harley Owners Group, they have their own private entrance near CF. awesome place to enter if you know someone with a H.O.G. Membership as there is never a line

Exactly! The tickets at the Club Entrance scan the same as at every other gate. I have entered at the Club Entrance approximately 60 times over the past 4 seasons, and have never had an issue. I just hope this doesn't make my wait longer now! ;)

I've been turned away (and seen people turned away) from the club level entrances more than once. These are the ones which lead directly to an escalator going up to the club level, and are clearly marked "Club Level" on the outside of the stadium.

I know the exact ones you are talking about, and I've never been turned away(nor did i turn anyone away when i worked there either). Of course, i' haven't used the one on the right side(the one with the escalator, left side just has general elevators) in several years. It boggles my mind why they would not let people use the entrance, as they can access the field level from that entrance as well. No reason to turn folks away.

Shhhhh!!!! What is wrong with you people? This is supposed to be a secret! We use that entrance 50% of the time.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Now the next issue will be finding the best way to get into the parking lots...

Get there by 11:00 am like we are and you will have no problem getting into the lots no matter what entrance you use.
