Just noticed Ishikawa had a batting glove in his back pocket while wearing two batting gloves. Fashion statement?

The result of the game is meaningless in terms of whether the Brewers make the playoffs but man. The game is pretty close to over and it's the first inning.

Good season Crew.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

This team is really good at believing they can get back in the race and wanting so bad to get back in the race.

Not so much at actually doing it.

I should post the graph again when I hear the notion about the Brewers needing consistent play. They've probably been more consistent than any team in the division this season. They're just simply not especially good.

Sell sell sell!

There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

I wish Rock would shut up about Bruce being the greatest player in the world. I get sick of the same comments over and over and over.

Jay Bruce has gotta be the biggest 'Brewer killer' in MLB right now.. he's a good hitter, but is just an extra base-hit machine against us, doesn't matter how hot or cold he is coming into the series..

This team's situational hitting is worse than pathetic. Leadoff doubles that never get moved up a base. Trying to yank outside pitches when going to right is what is called for. Say goodbye Mr. Narron, you are toast.

This is why having Hart playing anything other than 1B at this time is asinine.

He is a crappy right fielder to begin with, much less throwing him out there for one game every week or so...

This club used to be a lot more fun to watch, even when they were losing. The roadmap to a win for this team has very few forks in the road that can be successfully followed.
