I don't think the Cards will use Rosenthal as a closer, at least not long term. I think their starting rotation of the future will feature Miller, Rosenthal, Carlos Martinez and Michael Wacha.

 

I feel Rosenthal will end up being sooooo good as Closer he will pitch himself out of any Starting Rotation considerations.
