Great summary using some of this years early returns! I enjoy reading the updated prospect rankings, it provides a great snapshot in time of what is certainly a volatile market. Especially the Tyrone Taylor analysis, he certainly appears to have one of the highest ceilings in a system right now. Also hoping Jorge Lopez can continue to improve and move his way up by time Brad's next edition of the Top 25 organizational prospect list is released.

Brad, excellent write-up(s). It's always easy to argue individual placements on prospect lists, but it's hard to ignore the quality job you've done.

Interesting note on Magnifico. He sounds almost like Hellweg, being better as a starter than a reliever. Perhaps being a starter is in his future?

Not unless he develops at least a third pitch. Nevermind that as he still needs to develop his first and second pitch still.

The only thing I'll say is, I like Haniger more than that. I think he's going to be a little bit overlooked, because he wasn't a first rounder, and he doesn't have the huge power or speed that wins awards along the way.

Well I was never high on Jungmann and prob never will be. I really don't mind where he started or think that it would change the fact he just does not miss bats nor does he throw as hard as he did in college. His velocity dropped a bit his last year in college as did his k rate and has not came back really. He is a work horse, innings eater to fit in on the back end of a rotation. His ceiling is lower than many other pitchers in the system I believe. So outside of him I really like and agree with most of the list. I am also a big fan of Haniger and really think he can burst out and be a big prospect for us.
