threw wildy to the plate and had zero chance of throwing out Segura, Lucroy advanced to 2B.

No chance at all to throw out Segura, but he tried. Throw ended up halfway between home and third, gave Luc a free base.

CF made bad throw to home on Lucroy single, allowed him to go to second. Segura was going to score easily so it was dumb...cost them a run on Gomez single. Bill and Brian mentioned Gomez ball could have been double play if runner was on first instead of second.

He must have pretty good downward movement, 3 of the last 4 batters hit the ball straight down into the ground. Even the Gomez single hit about 2 feet in front of home plate.
