this is what happens when you can't score runs...seems like the run of early season close wins that catapulted the Crew to a hot early season start has abruptly ended, and now these close games are turning into gut-punching losses.

fun when the baseball season evens out, ain't it? yeesh!

hoping the bats wake up here to salvage this game - it would be a tough loss to take, for sure.

He completely mismanaged that entire inning IMO. Left Garza in far too long. Brought in Smith to face Rollins batting RH with 1b open and a lefty on deck. With all the lefties coming up, why not just let Smith or Duke start the inning?

And why the hell can't we ever end innings?? Virtually every run the Phillies have scored in this series has been with 2 outs. Well now it's over for sure.

So, do the Brewers become sellers at the deadline? Who knows how long this free-fall will continue..

Brewers have a .565 OPS in July - worst in baseball. 20 runs in 8 games.

This slump is really on the hitters, although the pitching hasn't been good.
