I'm not adept with looking for/adding photos to threads from a phone, so I figured last night that surely SOMEONE would have posted one of these by now...

El Caballo!

El Caballo AND MASCOTS. And I don't know how to read Bernie's body language there.

Not exactly magic number related, but I went to a PIT/Astros game in Pittsburgh several years back and had some drinks with Carlos at the hotel bar (my friend I was with is family friends with the Lee's). Totally chill dude and he has the goofiest high pitched laugh. Definitely doesnt fit with how he looks. But anyway, he said the thing he remembered most about Milwaukee were the racing sausages and how big it is there

I was curious, so I checked the 2011 magical magic number thread to see how this year's magic number pace compares. On August 9, 2011, the Brewers' magic number was 43. Only one "worse" right now is frankly better than I'd expected.

Wolfottaras forever! Meanwhile, we can dream about this photo being relevant on two later occasions.

Edit: I guess once more, as the Kottaras 9 isn't very visible.

[SoupTown]

Is it 42.5?

[lcbj68c]

42. STL was on 44, Pitt was on 43. Gained 1 on Pitt and 2 on STL

Magic number is 42 on both teams.

Magic number = 163 - "Brewers/First Place Teams Wins" - "STL/PIT Losses (whoever is in 2nd)"

...apparently the bat boy doesn't warrant a special jersey...

This pitch was probably smashed out of the park. But he pitched well tonight.

One of my favorite trivia facts of all-time. (Who was on the first cover of SI?)

May we see Johnny Hellweg in a Milwaukee uniform again; and may this not be the only magic number change of the day.
