I read this today. Since the 2010 playoffs, there have only been 13 postseason games in the NL that have not involved either the Cardinals or Giants. That is unreal. I am not a fan of either team, but one must admire their domination in the playoffs. They are both top notch when it comes crunch time.

Maybe it's just me but, but Cal Ripken reminds me of Lucy's Halloween mask in "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"

 

Also, personally, I really enjoy the "Seven Nation Army" chant from the O's fan...but to each there own. Love the energy in the stadium. Still rooting for the Royals though.

Give credit when it is due. Great job managing the 8/9th Ned. Wade Davis was unhittable in his 7 pitch 8th and Ned brought him back out for the 9th. What a concept to keep the hot pitcher in. I hope RRR is tuning into these games.

If we wouldn't have fired Yost in 2008, we still would've made the playoffs but instead of losing in the NLDS, we would've gone undefeated and won the World Series.

Does anyone feel the Royals setting themselves up to be like the Rockies the year they went to the World Series? Dominate the Divisional and League Championship Series and then get obliterated in the World Series, probably by the Cardinals.
