Star Wars (SPOILERS LIVE HERE)

I think the first episode tells you the timeframe. I think it was 5 years after the Death Star destruction (the second one).

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I have waht might be a stupid question. I haven't read this thread for fear of being let in on too much, so please excuse the ignorance that my question might display.

In the SW series, when does the Mandalorian take place?

Would it come after Return of the Jedi but before the Force Awakens?

I plan to start watching soon, but want/need to know where it fits in.

Thanks in advance.

I tried to find a simple graphic for you, but it seems all there is are either way too involved (having everything from comics and books included), it didn't have the years, or it had the release dates.

Bby/aby means before/after the battle of yavin(first death star)

Episode 1- 32 bby

2- 22 bby

Clone wars- 22 bby

3- 19bby

Solo- 13-10 bby

Rougue one- 0bby

4- 0

5- 3 aby

6- 4 aby

Mando- 9aby

7- 34 aby

8- 34 aby

9- 35 aby

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

This one seems pretty good and steamlined. Just TV and movies.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I saw that, but its a bit spoilery and you have to scroll through to find things. I know I've seen them before where it's just a timeline with dates and titles, but couldn't find a simple one this time.

"Tauntauns were a species of non-sentient lizards native to the snowy plains of Hoth."

What the heck? Lizards?

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I guess someone didn't remember 3rd grade when we learned what cold-blooded means?

It was less to do with the weather - actually nothing to do with the weather - and more to do with the fact that they looked like Llama/Camels and had fur.

Nothing to do with the weather? Yeah, it looked like some sort of Ram (horns) crossed with a Llama with fur (which would also indicate internal heat generation). But it lived in a region far below zero degrees with no sun - thus cold blooded animals would have no source of heat. And when it froze to death, Luke cut him open and steam came out... obviously not cold blooded.

[sarcasm]Did you forget 3rd grade too? :tongue[/sarcasm]

[sarcasm]Sorry, you lost all credibility when you wrote that Luke, not Han, cut open the tauntaun[/sarcasm]

I watched the first two episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series this weekend and it was ok.  Not fully disappointing like the last three movies but not as good as the Mandalorian.  I don't like one of the characters as they basically dumped them into the storyline with no backstory at all.  This character feels like the last three movies all over again where the character isn't developed at all and you are expected to know who they are without any explanation to them.
