17-year-old competitive balance pick catcher Mario Feliciano is doing just fine thanks through his first 11 pro games.

 

As Toby noted above, drafted as a catcher (and played one game there thus far, along with first base), 18-year-old "now-shortstop" (one error here) Gabriel Garcia has nine extra base hits through 13 games - were the Brewers brilliant drafting him in the 14th round, or lucky he was still there? RF Jay Feliciano had three hits including a triple.

36th round RHP Parker Bean of Liberty University made a one-inning start, only his 2nd appearance and first since his July 7th debut, so he's coming back from some sort of minor injury; only one earned run (three unearned) and no walks (one HBP) in five innings for Lind trade acquisition RHP Carlos Herrera.

Since the calendar turned to May, Austin Ross has a 2.68 ERA, with 14 BBs and 53 Ks in 47 IP. Only 36 hits and 3 HR allowed as well. If the Brewers end up dealing off relievers, I think I'd bring up Ross before Magnifico, Goforth, or Scahill.

Whenever we've wondered that, the birthplaces have never matched, which doesn't rule things out, but not likely.
