That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Today's the 29th anniversary of the end of Paul Molitor's 39-game hit streak.

Oh, didn't see that Bob Davidson was in town. Place your bets on who either balks first or gets thrown out first, both Davidson specialties.

Bill is really annoying with the "you have to ring him up, you can't reward a hitter for taking that pitch." Except the pitch is a ball in the defined strike zone. Close enough doesn't count.

He is very annoying on close pitches. It's either "how do you reward a hitter" or "how can you lay off that?"

Whenever I think of Balking Bob, I am reminiscent of the time Macha, Dickerson, Duncan and a fan getting the heave ho and the announcers fearing (hopefully kidding) that they were next.

Arcia's first dinger!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Can't hang a slider on 0-2 with the bases loaded.

Garza probably had his best stuff all year but all for naught.

When you have your best stuff of the year and still end up with 5 runs earned in 5 1/3rd, you know you're done.

Actually none of the runs were earned.....

It went

error

error

double

strikeout

So should have been 3 outs without a run scoring so all runs are unearned.

Shows how much I know. Just got an alert that he gave up a grand slam and figured they were earned. Paying more attention to the Packers.

Still, he's not doing enough to be of any interest to anyone.

Im always amused when all the runs in a game are scored in the exact same inning for both teams. I wonder what the record is for that because this has to be at least close.
Remember what Yoda said:

Man. I'm not typically a knee-jerk fan, but had it been up to me last night, Perez would have entered the game after Villar's second error.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
