Yep. Hate to say it but it’s starting to look like a trend. Still time to turn it around though.

I think the freshmen have kind of hit the wall as part of it and they're playing the two best teams in the Big ten I'm back-to-back weekends. I know Michigan's ranked ahead but I don't think they're near as good as Michigan State or Penn State right now.

Afraid buckys goalies are just not good enough to win any hardware this year.

I turned on the game early and thought they had started turning the corner when it was 2-0.  Then I saw PSU had only 3 shots on goal.  Uggh...

Since Christmas they scored four goals or more once in seven games.

Meanwhile they've given up four or more in four out of seven games.

In a bad place right now while playing the cream of the conference.

One thing we don't have that I assume he'll address is some size on defense. Seems like most of the rest of the Big ten have big defensemen that clog up lanes and have more reach than we do.

Wild win 4-3 in a shootout after being down 3-0. This was their 21 overtime game this year (10th OT since 12-23). Kaprizov with only SO goal.

Saw a stat - The Wild have the same amount of regulation wins as the Jets.  The Wild have the 3rd best record in the NHL.  The Jets are 29th.

I’m beginning to think Hastings need to schedule several games with non-conference teams during the x-mas break so the players don’t get stale.

In a bad funk right now.

Especially defensively and in goal.

And the beat goes on..

Give up 3 first period goals on 6 shots.

Have given up 5 power play in 6 chances and that one was o only 1 second.

He hasn't had much help but Hauser has been bad.

Minnesota is one of the worst teams in the Big 10. Looks like this will be another year of rebuilding.

College hockey has known for a long time that the Olympics were going to be during this time.  They had plenty of time to flip the conference and non-conference games so that the non-conference games were being played now.

The SEC football teams schedule non-conference cupcakes in November to give them a break for a week.  It's not that hard.

Badgers look like a different team tonight in the first period. Let’s see if they can finish

Defense optional for both squads in that period.

Great for Finley to get the game winner in OT. He’s been struggling lately.

The whole team is struggling. Especially defensively yikes.
