Kind of changes the game when guys start having to swing 3-4 inches off the corner knowing they'll get called out if they don't.

 

I also get a kick out of the logic that as long as it's consistent, it's all good. Yeah, consistent is still better than inconsistent, but a couple inches off the plate is still by definition a 'ball' no matter how consistent you want to be about it.

#Brewers lose to Giants 7-2. They have 17 relief losses, most in majors, and outscored 64-30 in 8th and 9th innings. Offense did little tho.

Just have Garza and Anderson go 9 every time. They're not part of our future and them pitching gassed is just as good as anyone not named Barnes or Knebel from the bullpen.

At some point Stearns needs to take a little heat for not doing something (anything) with the pen. It's one thing to have a mediocre one, but this one can't even handle MLB hitting. This could have been addressed in the offseason, ain't like we don't have the money sitting around collecting dust.

 

Christ bring something in for a look. It can't possibly be any worse than Oliver freaking Drake and Feliz.
