Walks are just something you have to live with if this is the rotation you are going to put out there.

 

Other teams rotations don’t walk guys? Man, what is Stearns thinking. He should go get those guys.

 

Since the start of the trip to Wrigley the starters specifically are averaging over 7 walks per 9. Obviously they've been winning, so no harm no foul, but that number is playing with fire. Not that it should never happen but it shouldn't happen quite so frequently especially with Peralta no longer in the rotation.

Six innings to score at least one run against Nova and that pen.

I feel like they just consciously ignored what I said. Perhaps there was some confusion? Brewers, I was referring to you. That should take care of it in the next half inning.

Yelich is so good he can hit 'em where they are and still get hits. The rest of the gang is having trouble with the concept to hitting.

Not seemingly. Coming into tonight we are hitting .236 (10th in the NL) against the Pirates. Hit better, because no one else is losing
