2019-07-20: Brewers (Gonzalez) at Diamondbacks (Greinke) [Brewers win, 8-3 -- Bullpen delivers 5 scoreless innings in comeback win]

[wildcat83]

Saladino can earn an extra few weeks in the bigs right here...

Nice up close scouting for the Brewers today.

Who that guy in the black tank behind home plate ?

Haha

[MrTPlush]

Good things happen when Braun is hitting and Hiura isn’t batting 9th.

Too bad Grandal is crashing.

Why? Shaw can’t come up for Saladino.

He already earned that with his single last night.

Shaw can play SS?

[wildcat83]

Jeesh, that was predictable.

[Eye Black]

Saladino didn’t have much more than a puncher’s chance there.

[willie key]

Batting Saladino 7 and the pitcher 8 is just beyond stupid. Way to screw up a huge inning

[Diamondbacks]

Come on guys. Saladino does have 2 singles this week, give him a break

Yup, so stupid.

[jjgott]

As Tony Kornheiser says, Saladino should be deported. Good god man, do something!

[Diamondbacks]

How many times is not batting Huira in the top 3 gonna hurt this team jeez..

Shaw can play SS?

Arcia can and should at this point. You just have to ride it out with him. Saladino isn't the answer.

[willie key]

Just asinine.

There still needs to be a backup on the roster. Even in case of an in game injury.

[AKCheesehead]

Well, you've gotta give Saladino credit for clearing the pitcher's spot anyways.

I'd be willing to bet a large sum of $$ an Arcia AB would have ended no differently. He isn't the answer either. They need to fix the SS position in a bad way.

They aren’t going to play games with one person who can play SS, just not happening. Especially for a few Shaw ABs a week. Where would he even play and when?

Actually counsell cleared the pitcher spot.

[stoutdude04]

Saladino needs to be outta here. He has 17 whiffs in 45 at bats. Arcia may not be the answer, but come on.

[wildcat83]

There really isn’t a downside to letting Dubon play SS and seeing what he can do. He almost can’t be worse.

Some have said struggling could lower his trade value, but I doubt that. Brinson struggled when he came up and the return for him was pretty decent.
