Didn't think about it at the time, but Crosby's first PAT was from the left hash, wasn't it??? Isn't that where he historically has had trouble?

I wish every Packer game started at Noon. I’m enjoying a rare, relaxing 4-day weekend and I’ll still be tired on Monday. Wonderful.

That's alright. The game will be over by halftime.

Over? For which team? (half joking)

Told ya.

Nagy might get fired by old lady McCaskey at half.

I still don't get why teams don't just kick it from center. They always spend the ends or games trying to line up the game winning FG from right between the hashes but on an extra point they want to kick from a hash for some reason?

Because clearly the K prefers it a certain way? Why else?

Though what you are referring to seems way way less common than it was 10 years ago. I rarely see those last plays where the RB just falls down in a certain spot to make that happen.

What a chicken crap call. You got a good field position gift, you're only 20-25 yards from a reasonably possible FG attempt. Just throw it downfield and see what happens. It's not like they've been able to stop you all night.

It’s going to be thoroughly annoying to watch the defense keep the Bears around in the second half.....

Yup, Bears get the ball to start 2nd half. 27-17 and it's a game.

Scoop and score from the defense. (Though a little lucky to not be called for facemasking.)

I don’t want to hear any complaints from the Bears unless it happens in overtime of a playoff game.

35-40 yards from a reasonable FG attempt, but yea, still agree worth taking a shot.

Uncomfortable, based on how 2nd half adjustments have gone on both sides this season. Offense hasnt been stopped once, 2 turnovers on D. A first possession TD to start the 3rd and only 10 ahead then.

20 yards gets you to the 45 and 25 gets you to the 40. That's a 57-62 yard field goal. Both are "reasonably possible" for a last half attempt in this era of kickers.

Nah, It was the right call. No reason to give Bears more chance of momentum via a sack-TO. I'd say I would have had Jones in the game. It was pretty obvious with Williams a run being called. I'd have run with Jones and if he broke one for 14 or more yards you call TO and take a shot. They started before the 30yd line

I just feel like this team is what it is and I've seen this show before. They're going to win this game and pound another crappy squad, but even giving up that TD at the end of the half is concerning. There are still spots in this game that have you scratching your head.

It's not that I'm disappointed how this specific game is going. I just don't see this as a team that can take out the Chiefs or Saints. I know they beat the Saints. I don't think they could beat them now.

Is my attitude the result of a team that's always good? Yes, absolutely. But. I also think there's a legitimacy to the frustration of watching them crush crappy teams and just never beat the top ones.

Beat Tennessee and serve me crow.

But why not just take a knee when you have no intention of trying to score rather than risking a fumble recovery/touchdown?

I hope this is over but I fear it isn't.

If Bears rush three that could be a good call. Williams probably gets 10 - 20

It's still a three possession game. I seriously doubt the Bears offense is capable of that. Unless they score on defense or special teams this one should be a wrap.

Way too much hand-wringing about January, here in November. Just take care of the task at hand. You don't have to beat KC or NO today. Worry about January in January. NFL teams look completely different from month to month. While I would like to see a scheme that is capable of winning against another certain type of scheme, I have no interest in trying to be paper champions against every other team in the league after game #11.

I know some of you guys think I’m nuts for bringing up the coin toss streak, but losing the coin toss today was like a turnover. And the same thing happened a few weeks ago in Minnesota. 8 in a row!
