Difference is, this group is talented enough to play better...if they had a DC who put them in the best position to succeed.

 

Pettine's not doing that. Clark can't be the only guy who can win at the LOS. We need Gary and the Smith's.

I think you need to breathe. They all but got them off the field two consecutive drives and a hail mary basically foiled it. They're not a great defense, but they've been a good one for the 2nd half of the year. Just let them adapt a little. If they give up 500 yards again then by all means, I'll get my pitchfork too.

I don't even understand how you can get this ruled a touchback. If you take a kick out of the endzone any other time and get tackled at the 13 you can't go back and say "well I was in the endzone so it's a touchback."

I don't know...starting from your own 12 makes it that much more difficult. The 25 opens up the playbook a little more.

One of the dumber rule changes over the past how many ever years. Kickoffs not being fielded should be live. Catch the ball. Take a knee. It's not that hard.

This game doesn't have a good feel at all. The defense isn't getting off the field on 3rd down and our offensive line is getting manhandled up front.
