I put this in the major league section because David Dahl played in 63 games for the Rangers this season, and he is one of those players I can’t bring myself to stop believing in even though the evidence says I probably should.

most veteran-type players signed to minor league deals have some sort of opt-out clause in june, and that month's almost over. maybe david dahl didn't negotiate for an opt-out clause, which may give insight in to what kind of offers dahl's agent was fielding from clubs.

I like Dahl. Hope he gets picked up somewhere and can play in the bigs this season.

Too bad he couldn’t get it going.

He hit .294 with an .825 OPS.

I suspect he was upset that Davis was called up instead of him.

I wish him the best playing in the majors with some bad team.
