As someone who senses that Woodruff could use a rest, all I can say is - great timing stomach bug. The other part of me wonders if this "stomach illness" was "planned".

I think if they wanted to skip a turn, they'd just skip a turn. No need or reason to make up a bug to do that. Just say "hey, we're managing his innings and skipping a start".

Right….this isn’t the NBA……load management is allowed……according to what I heard or read he has lost weight since he’s been sick……doubt they would make that up.
