I'm almost positive they're going to call up Alex Jackson, but I sure wouldn't mind getting an extended look at Mario Feliciano, particularly with Narvaez set to reach free agency after the season.

The 'covid DL' is shorter than the regular 'DL' right?

Conspiracy theorist in me says this is because of those fouls off his quad/knee, as a way to make a roster move without putting him on the shelf for the full DL stint.

You knew me as Myday2001.

Feliciano is batting about 100 points higher than Jackson. IF the brewers are going to commit to giving Mario PT, then it makes sense to call him up. If they are simply just going to give Caratini the lions share of atbats, then just call up Jackson. It would be nice to give Feliciano an extended look with Narvaez going into FA this offseason.

I don’t think there’s a set minimum for the COVID IL. It depends on the situation and protocols that may vary based on the player’s vaccination status, whether he tested positive, just showed symptoms, or was exposed to an infected person. I’ve seen players return in a couple of days and some, like McCutchen, be out a couple of weeks.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
