No. He's not good except for his arm. He's hilarious and seems like a great teammate, but on the field, he's worse than everyone on the Brewers roster. If he wasn't a former Brewer, nobody here would even think about him.

There is really no on-field difference between Phillips and Jonathan Davis. And Davis is the guy that everyone wants replaced.

If the Brewers don't want Hiura and his 40% K rate when he is actually producing offensively they certainly are not going to want Phillips. Would rather have Davis who has a poor OPS but gets on base.

We have 4 outfielders in AAA that are better than Brett Phillips.
