Our first ever "Away Game Meeting" is coming up on April 14th game time is 6:05 CST. Milwaukee will be in New York taking on the Mets. Paul Long, of Long Wong's is giving us a private area to watch the game. Let's show him how to do a game Bf.net style and show up in large numbers. Bring your spouse, your friends, bring your neighbors. Bring folks by the numbers because the more folks we bring in, the better off we are.

Paul has graciously offered up some prizes including some tickets to a game, and I'll be giving away a BF.Net shirt. (prizes are for bf.netters, so if your friends are not signed up, get them to so they are eligible) We -really- need to show up in force for this first game, so C'mon! watch the game, eat, drink, watch a Brewers game, and talk ball with fellow fans!

Last time I brought friends to a LW BF.net event, we got there to find out it was cancelled. It was also my first LW BF.net event. That was pretty cool, looking like a fool and an idiot and wasting my friends' time. I'm still pretty upset about that....

Mary and I willbe there, but Rachel will be staying home. I'm down with some cool recipe stuff, although most of mine are just lists and not measurements since I do "what ever feels right".

I don't know right now. Paul is taking a "wait and see" approach to this event. I think it's a smart idea to see how many folks show up.I know that he's offering up food and drink specials plus prizes and tickets.

How'd this event go? Was there a good turnout?

 

The fact that it was Good Friday prevented me from going.

I guess it was a horrible turnout. I think many of are dedicated to making sure that doesn't happen again, however.
