If people want to rave about minor leaguers who might be helping the Brewers in 3-4 years, that’s fine. But I don’t think the place for it is in a game thread where the focus should be on today’s game and this year’s team.

I actually really enjoyed the prospect updates during the game! It'd be nice to get "live" updates like that as part of an "organizational gameday" thread, however, I don't know how we do that without it steering conversation too far away from the major league game that day.

The minor league thread there's 2 posters I believe updating game days for the minors. Sorry I didn't use your names. Quick response.

I don’t need to make a big deal out of it, but there is a separate forum for minor league discussion. 
 

It’s one thing to talk about someone from AAA who might be helping out the Brewers this season, but daily updates about a player at least 2 or 3 years away to me is a different subject. 
 

If I really was interested in daily reports about the minor league affiliates, I’d rather have those in a separate forum where I could refer to them easily instead of having to comb through archived game threads. 

Just my two cents. The administrators and contributors can decide what they want for their audience.
