CC says he's cutting back on Winker's playing time. He's going to use him more in pinch hit situations.

Maybe Winker will be spend more time at batting practice or whatever to get going. I know the Brewers don't want to lose millions by sending him packing.

They've already lost millions, why make it worse by keeping him on the roster?

Don't you know how good he was like, three years ago?  Are you even a baseball fan"

I predict a rout for the Brewers

I have Abbott on my fantasy team and my opponent has Burnes and the way my pitchers have been lately 6 runs in 3 innings would be about par for the course (following the lead of Darvish last night and Webb on Saturday).

Abbott vs. Brewers: 4.41 ERA, 1-2 record, 8 total runs runs given up

Abbott vs. rest of baseball: 1.15 ERA, 4-0 record, 5 total runs given up

It may be just one start in particular where the Brewers lit him up, but that statement is still factually correct.

Gotta find something to be negative about.

I get that it's a left-handed starter and they don't want to throw too much at the rookie right away but I hate not seeing Sal in the lineup.

When you got somebody that's being productive in the lineup and a whole bunch of guys that aren't it's just painful to pull out the guy that actually is doing something

I think they gave him the day off so he can look for a mansion to live in here in Southeast Wisconsin!🤣

Don’’t see what’s negative about pointing out that Abbott has had two excellent starts against the Brewers, making stats based on 16 innings quite misleading.
